For the past five years I have began wondering what I will do with my life after I graduate from college. For a while I had no clue what I want to do after college, but now I am starting to create more and more goals after college.
The first goal I have for me is to get accepted into NYU or Colombia University’s Sports Management Master’s program. This is my top goal because I realized that I have been in love with sports all my life and getting involved in the business side of sports would be my best job.
My second goal I have is to earn a job in the operations management department of a professional sports team. Like I stated earlier getting involved in the business side of sports is something I would love to do forever.
My third goal maybe a little far-fetched, nonetheless I want to become a professional basketball head coach or become the owner of a professional sports team. Becoming a head coach or an owner would be my dream job.
Of course I have another goal which most other people, which is getting married and starting a family. Getting married is something really within my culture. Very rarely do you find any Indian person that doesn’t get married.

According to the video, nothing is too far-fetched as long as you take action. lol
ReplyDeleteHi, I like your goal of getting accepted to Columbia or NYU, I believe that the graduate school you go to does have a major affect on jobs that you will receive in the future. You should definitely keep that as one of your main visions and focus on visulaizing actually getting there. I like that particular goal because it is also a goal of mine to go to NYU, Columbia or anyone of the top ivy league schools. I wish you nothing but lots of luck.
ReplyDeleteI can definitely relate to your goals. I love sports and would definitely love to be a part of managing a professional team. The best advice is probably to shoot for that Master's Program and start finding an internship anywhere with any teams. Nothing is impossible, and maybe when you get to work for the Knicks they might start actually winning??
ReplyDeleteI'm Indian and I'm not married! I'm just joking, I've known you for so long and I had no idea that you were that interested in sports. Good luck with it and get me court side tickets when you get the job!
ReplyDeleteI like your goals, I used to play basketball myself, its a very good sport. i am trying to get into NYU myself. Good luck .
