ABC Easy As 1,2,3

During the Personal Profile System test showed that I was an I-D type of manager. This pretty much means that I emphasis on shaping the environment by influencing or persuading others and overcoming opposition to accomplish results. I thought the test got it right because many of traits of an I-D manager are similar to my personal traits. I love to encourage others through creating a positive atmosphere and make a good impression, while I want immediate results. Sometimes I’m not the most patient person, but I always try to make a positive atmosphere. This is why I think the test got it right for me as an I-D manager.
I don’t really wish to be another type of manager because I am extremely happy with my results. Also I think I could be another type of manager, maybe an S type of manager because they emphasis on cooperating with others to carry out the task.
I don’t really think it makes a difference in finding out what type of manager one is classified as because one already has a clear idea of what type of manager one is. The test just backs up one’s one assumption. This test could help understanding others because you know what traits they carry, so it might be easier to avoid conflict with this person.
